Bakery in Altadena 1939

In the 800 block of Mariposa, next to the hardware store perhaps where Steve's Bike is now, the Hygienic Home Bakery prepared fresh baked goods. It was a regular stop for children walking home from Altadena Elementary School.  This photo, from The Altadenan newspaper, was taken in 1939.
